On this Thursday (1 July), we join the European Animal Research Association (EARA) in “Be Open about Animal Research Day”: #BOARD21. This global social media campaign aims to celebrate the increasingly proactive approach by the biomedical community to communicate about animal research.
Professor Stefan Constantinescu, FEAM President, stressed the importance of animal research. Without it, “progress in medicine, especially in treatments”, would come to a halt, he said.
“We need to keep looking at alternatives and to use all means to improve also animal health with a One Health vision, working together to achieve better public health outcomes”, he concluded.
