Royal Society of Medicine, London, and online
The Academy of Medical Sciences and The Lancet invite you to the 2026 International Health Lecture.
Global health is at a critical turning point. Shifting funding priorities, evolving international partnerships and new approaches to health sovereignty are reshaping how countries respond to health challenges and improve outcomes.
Against this backdrop, this year’s lecture will be delivered by Dr Sania Nishtar, CEO of Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance. Drawing on her experience as a physician, government minister and global health leader, Dr Nishtar will reflect on the future of global health and share insights from leading Gavi, whose partnerships have helped expand access to life-saving immunisation around the world.
The lecture will be followed by a panel discussion featuring leading voices from across the global health community, an audience Q&A and a networking reception.
Registration for in-person and online attendance is available via the Academy of Medical Sciences.
