FEAM European Biomedical Policy Forum Committee

About

The FEAM Forum Committee oversees the activities and strategic direction of the FEAM European Biomedical Policy Forum, a platform designed to foster dialogue between academia, industry, patient groups, and EU institutions on key health and biomedical science issues.

The Committee ensures that the Forum’s work remains relevant to European policy developments and aligned with FEAM’s broader mission. It supports the definition of annual priorities, identifies opportunities for collaboration with external stakeholders, and guides the development of events and initiatives that promote evidence-informed policymaking.

The Committee is co-chaired by Professor Stefan Constantinescu, FEAM Past President and Member of the Board, an internationally recognised researcher in molecular haematology and cancer biology, and Professor Luis Martí-Bonmatí, FEAM Vice President and expert in medical imaging and AI applications in healthcare. Their combined leadership brings academic excellence and policy insight to the Forum’s work.

The Forum Committee works closely with FEAM Science and Education Committee to ensure coherence and impact across the organisation’s outreach and engagement activities.
