Professor George Griffin participates in event on Routine Vaccination

Professor George Griffin, FEAM Vice-President, will participate in the event “Routine vaccinations in time of COVID-19 across Europe: a multi-stakeholder evaluation“. This initiative, which will take place on 20 July (Tuesday), is organised by the Active Citizenship Network (ACN) and is being held as part of the EU webinar cycle ‘Health at the heart of Europe’s future’, which ACN is running with the aim of feeding into the debate at the Conference for the Future of Europe.

The event will focus on the impact of COVID-19 on the new management of national immunization plans and will share concrete suggestions and experiences from patient organisations, healthcare professionals and institutions.

The online initiative will also include the presentation of the results of ACN’s survey, realised in different EU countries for the project: Protecting the value of vaccination during -and after-the COVID-19 pandemic across Europe: impact, experiences and perspectives from citizens’ and patients’ advocacy groups & relevant stakeholders.

Professor George Griffin will join a roundtable discussion with representatives from various sectors of society, such as health care professionals, citizens and patients’ advocacy groups, health institutions and pharmaceutical companies.
