About the Lecture
One Health
The FEAM Annual Lecture on One Health is held with the gracious hospitality of the French Academy of Medicine, which welcomes the event to Paris. The Lecture is a FEAM event: its programme, scientific content and design are developed and overseen by the FEAM One Health Selection Committee, on behalf of the Federation.
The 2026 edition is dedicated to One Health and builds on FEAM’s Evidence Review Report on the Governance of One Health in Europe and the FEAM/Tri-Academies One Health Hub initiative. Its central premise is that One Health in Europe no longer suffers from a deficit of definition or scientific consensus, but from a deficit of governance and operational integration. The morning moves deliberately from strategic vision toward concrete implementation across European Commission services, EU agencies and multilateral bodies, keeping the human–animal–environment triptych central throughout.
