FEAM is pleased to announce a new partnership with the Canadian Academy of Health Sciences (CAHS), Canada’s national, independent academy of health sciences.
CAHS brings together elected Fellows from across the full spectrum of health sciences, clinical disciplines, and health policy, with a mandate to provide non-partisan, evidence-based advice on matters of importance to health, healthcare, and health research in Canada.
This partnership builds on several years of growing engagement between the European and Canadian health science communities, and formalises that momentum at the academy level. FEAM and CAHS share a strong alignment in mission and values — particularly around evidence-informed policy-making, interdisciplinary collaboration, and strengthening international cooperation to address shared health challenges.
As health systems on both sides of the Atlantic face common pressures — from pandemic preparedness to the responsible adoption of new technologies in healthcare — this collaboration reflects FEAM’s continued commitment to building a global network of academies working toward better, evidence-based health policy.
